Recent study has shown that:

HTR does not require the use of barrier membrane"

97.9% Success Ratio *

In a written survey 64 dentists out of 100 responded to a request to describe their clinical experiences using HTR Synthetic Bone for periodontoplasty, post-extraction ridge maintenance (Advanced Extraction Therapy™) and for the repair of misclleaneous lesions. A total of 647 patients were treated by 64 dental practitioners, both generalists and specialists, over an 18- month period. Bioplant® HTR
® is the bone regeneration material that surpasses all other bone substitute materials for complex as wel as for simple procedures. Bioplant® HTR® is, as reported, successfully applied for the repair of periodontal defects, apicoectomies, for ridge augmentation, Replacement Therapy with immediate implants, or for Advanced Extraction Therapy (Post-Extraction Ridge Maintenance).

The osteopromotive characteristics of Bioplant® HTR®

Bioplant® HTR® is niet just a bone filler. It's efficiacy is the result of an exceptional combination of physical and chemical properties that all together make the Bioplant® HTR® osteopromotive. Bioplant® HTR® has an microporous structure that allows the new bone to biologically attach to the HTR bead. Bioplant® HTR® forms a matrix; it replaces temporary the removed bone structure and in the same time promotes the new bone growth. One year after the treatment the Bioplant® HTR® -filled defect consist of approximately 90% van het genuine secondary bone. The Bioplant® HTR® takes just 10% of the defect volume. The new secondary bone is of exceptional quality because Bioplant® HTR® attracts primarily those cells that form the osteoblasts which are responsible for formation of dense lamina bone*.
